Brussels, 10 April 2014 – To support its growth and further specialization, Whyte Corporate Affairs strengthens its team with the recruitment of Philip Naert as Consultant. The growth of Whyte Corporate Affairs reflects the growing complexity of the stakeholder’s landscape in which companies operate and the increasing demand for strategic advice and professional support in the field of public affairs and reputation management.
During the past three years, Philip Naert was in charge of Public Affairs for the industry association Febiac. In this position, his role consisted to defend the interests of the association on a political level, as well as towards a broad range of different stakeholders.
Before joining Febiac, Philip was an advisor to the former Minister of Enterprise and Reform, Vincent Van Quickenborne from 2008 until 2010. Philip Naert worked on several key projects in the field of administrative simplification. His responsibilities within the cabinet also covered the Pharmaceuticals and Chemical industry as well as Automotive.
Philip holds a Masters’ degree in Law from the KULeuven and started his career as legal advisor at the HR Services group Acerta. He was also academic assistant in ‘Constitutional Law’ at the KULeuven.
With this legal background and with his broad experience in the Belgian political system, Philip Naert further strengthens Whyte Corporate Affairs and brings additional complementarity to its team of consultants.
The strengthening of the team reflects on the one hand the success and the growing client portfolio of Whyte Corporate Affairs and on the other hand the increasing complexity of the projects Whyte Corporate Affairs is involved in, in the field of public affairs, corporate communication, as well as crisis communication and issue management.
