The candidate should possess, as a minimum, the following requirements and background:
- University degree
- Preferably a first professional experience in a public relations / media relations / public affairs department, or another relevant working environment such as politics, diplomacy, …
- French or Dutch as mother tongue, and fluent in English
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Good understanding of Belgian media
- General knowledge of the functioning of Belgian politics & society (unions, pressure groups, trade associations, …)
- Affinity with the Belgian and international business world
- Able to successfully conduct press relations activities, including writing effective press releases, identifying relevant media targets, organising conferences and other events
- Good organisational and planning skills
- Creative mind and team spirit
